Kuchen

had a brief trip to Germany with my lady friend, who was on the jury for a yearly media art prize awarded in Kassel. (This is also where the world famous Documenta art festival is held every 5 years). We got to see a lot of documentary films too, including "Germany: the great depression", by a Michael Moore-inspired director, and plenty of wonderful other shorts. Met lots of great new people. Doug showed up, and we ate lots of mashed potato and saurkraut with meat washed down with tasty german half-litre beers. Sorry folks back in Holland but German beer is far superior. We then headed to Gottingen and as you can see above, indulged in the some cake and coffee while visiting more friends. View flikr stream here for visuals on this trip.
